Winter Hens Parties

Yes it’s that time of year again where we all feel like hibernating! However, if your bestie is getting married and you’ve been asked to organise a hens, how do you choose something where everyone will be warm and still have fun?

First of all, consider a fancy dress theme that allow guests to cover up. Think Medieval with long, warm cloaks, or an animal theme – think (faux) fur coats and leopard print jackets. You could even call it a Winter Wonderland theme and see what people come up with – Apres Ski or Snow Bunnies!. Steam punk is fun and can include leather jackets, stockings and boots and what about a 60’s Beatnik look? There’s loads to choose from. Always keep in mind what you’ll be doing afterwards. Asking everyone to come dressed as a Granny might be funny but won’t help if you’re trying to get into a nightclub later!

If you’re doing multiple activities, make sure you limit the time outside in between – have transportation booked and ready to go. Nothing worse than waiting on a freezing street for a taxi in Winter!

If you book a treasure hunt with us, then we recommend an early start so you’re finished and off to dinner by the time it gets dark. Whilst on our treasure hunts you’ll keep warm by walking, a few drinks along the way and the odd cuddle from a random guy as one of the challenges!

And lastly, the best way to keep warm at a hens party is dancing! Get the girls to a nightclub as soon as possible after dinner and dance the night away!
